Homeless Outreach Manager
Ricardo is a Latinx, non-binary, and queer community member. They have been invested in community organizing, activism, and advocacy since their early undergraduate years and believe in radical queer/trans liberation as a means of solving large-scale injustices and inequalities. Pivotal fields of experience for Ricardo have included working alongside homeless queer & trans youth, Latinx folks, and folks living with HIV. They currently hold their Masters in Social Work and plans on continuing further educational opportunities in social work.
They've been working in homeless outreach and navigation services for 4 years now and is now the Team Lead for the Trans Housing Coalition case management team.
To unwind, Ricardo enjoys playing video games with their friends, spending time with their wacky and energetic familia, and spending time in community/grassroots events! Ricardo also has a huge fascination for pugs and hopes to adopt one in the near future!
